Danube-Black Sea Canal, Constanta/Romania

DSD NOELL performed the following services on three of the four locks (Cernavoda, Agigea and Ovidiu):

Calculation, construction, manufacturing, shipping, dismantling and reassembly of three lifting gates and four miter gates, the repair works on one remaining safety gate, eight culvert gates as well as all the hydraulic drives including control systems.
The company also delivered and assembled the hydraulic drives for one bascule bridge and three ship arresters.
Calculation, construction and quality management were performed in Germany.
All assembly works from the first phase were carried out over the course of 18 months (2014 - 2015).

A similar capacity of work has been planned for the second phase.
Weight: 2200 metric tons of hydraulic steel construction.
