Holding
The DSD Steel Group GmbH, which restuctures as a holding some special companies which have in common steel as material, its application and production. The engineering and project managing companies of industrial sectors as bridge-building, structural engineering, construction of cranes and hydro mechanical equipments, which are split off from the traditional company DSD Stahlbau GmbH, are completed with the also split off erection department and additional companies with their own plants in Germany, Luxembourg and Egypt. So these companies offer the full power of structural steel work by reasonable specialising and responsibility assignment to the market and the customers.
Businessfields
Apart from engineering, production and erection of steel structures, maintenance is the 2nd activity field of the DSD Steel Group. There are companies in Germany, Luxembourg and France mainly as partners in the steel production process for large repairings, plant maintenance, industrial installation and production in the plants of steel industry itselves or in individual projects. But also in locations of power generation and chemical industries these companies meet the demand of repairs and small steel structures.
Philosophy
The philosophy of the whole group is already recognizable when regarding its organisation. Decentralized special competences orientated on products and market segments and/or clients and working independent units can be combined and expanded according to the demands within the DSD group. In this way a performance in favour of the customer will be established, which no other steel construction or maintenance company is able to offer in this manner. These continous efforts to remain firm on the market and strong in competition ensures in this combination of power also economical and efficient solutions.
